Michigan Alpine Competition Council
(Michigan)

The M.A.C.C. is an organization that conducts Adult Alpine Ski Racing competitions.  Racers in M.A.C.C. are members of ski clubs and compete for individual and team awards.  The race schedule begins in January, we race every other weekend until Mid March.  Racers compete in age and ability groups.  This allows everyone to have a quality racing experience on full size FIS style Slalom and Giant Slalom courses.  MACC members have access to training and race instruction throughout the year.  More than that, we are a very social organization that welcomes new racers as we do seasoned racers, into a fun community.   Whether you just want to see how it is to race, or are a racing veteran, you will find a welcoming group of skiers.  Some race for fun, some for serious; the beauty is that you can find your own pace.  We award top 3 finishes for Men and for Women in three age categories and seven ability categories.

Our race season and all information about coming to join us can be found on our web-site: www.maccracing.org

Our members are adults. We do allow members to be as young as 14 years of age, with a racing parent on the hill.
