Alpen Ski Club

Avalanche Ski Team

The Avalanche Ski Team is an organization of professional alpine ski coaches and alpine guides. We focus on expert level skiing, racing, and tidemarks skiing. We also offer a full alpine mountaineering program, including rock climbing, ice climbing, and winter mountaineering. Skiing and racing programs are held week nights at Mt. Brighton ski area and weekend programs are held at Schuss Mountain. Ice climbing and mountaineering programs are held in Ontario, New York , Vermont, and New Hampshire. Livonia Ski Club

The Livonia Ski Club was established in 1960 and still has a few charter members active in the club. The club offers a wide array of activities all year. Our trip plans consist of skiing at Michigan and out-state resorts. One trip is planned either out west or to Europe annually.

SkiCruisers Ski Club

We're a friendly group that enjoys spending time together and are always interested in trying new things. Our monthly meetings allow us to socialize as well as plan future activities. Some of our activities include down hill and cross country skiing, camping and canoeing, featherbowling, theatre and concerts, golfing, baseball, cards and more. Our club is a fun way to meet new people and make new friends.

The Skiniks are a club primarily interested in ski racing. A long time member of the MDSC, and participant in the racing program, our club has numerous awards to our credit. Travel plans include European destinations to challenge our members.

Ski Prix Ski Club

The Ski Prix Ski Club is a friendly club that is socially active throughout the year in addition to running a western ski trip every year. We enjoy golf outings, bike hikes, card parties, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, etc. We are a small group hoping to grow. We encourage and solicit new members that have interest in our growth and in bringing new ideas for fun social events.

Skis 'n Tees

The Skis 'n Tees ski club consists of both married and single individuals 21 years of age or older. We participate and enjoy a diversity of social events including recreational downhill and cross country skiing (local, Northern Michigan, Western U.S.), volleyball (May - October, 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of the month, SE corner of Five Mile and Inkster Road), Wallyball (October - April), mixed golf league (Thursdays, 5 p.m., Warren Valley), Annual Pig Roast & Picnic, and a Christmas Party. In addition, we schedule regular monthly events such as canoeing, TGIF's, Mystery Trips, Northville Downs, Whirllyball, ice fishing, weekend city tours (i.e. Chicago, Toronto, Cleveland, etc.), dinner events, Euchre and dart parties and pumpkin carving at Halloween. We encourage and solicit new members that have interest in assisting in our growth and bringing new ideas for fun social events.
